The Claim
The insured had suffered accidental impact damage to their VIS ScanPad Veterinary Scanner. After a speedy inspection by CATS engineers, it was discovered that the unit suffered damage to the casing, main PCB and fan assembly. This was consistent with the claim. Unfortunately, the unit was BER due to the unavailability of parts.
The Resolution
CATS proposed a like for like replacement which we could supply. The insurers decided to cash settle this claim. The CATS claims team were able to save the insurers £255 on this claim.
