The Claim
The insured's CCTV system had suffered damage and the policy holder urgently needed repairs before going away on holiday. CATS engineers inspected the unit and found that a cut network cable connecting the cameras to the DVR had caused a power surge. This had damaged the Cat5 cable and the PSY to the cameras. However, the engineers confirmed the unit to be repairable.
