The Claim

CATS were asked to validate a proposed replacement for a Ricoh Printer. The team were able to confirm the proposed replacement was the current like for like model. However, the cost presented was not fair and reasonable. CATS therefore proposed the same replacement model for £11,000 less which the team supplied through their Ricoh partner network. This price included delivery, installation and removal too.

The Resolution

For a nominal CATS fee, the insurers saved £11,000 by replacing the unit through CATS replacement service. This is equivalent to a 44% saving.
